Building the Church of the Home, Building the Church of the Poor

We are Couples for Christ. We are committed to live in God’s righteousness and holiness, evangelizing people through a life of love and service; we shall work for the renewal of families that will serve God and build generations of Christian leaders; and, we shall pursue Total Christian Liberation through social justice, respect for life, and work with the poor.

This year's National Conference was truly an experience. From the engaging session talks and the fun workshops, I feel enriched with a deeper understanding of my faith and it's relevance in today's world and in my own life. It was a weekend of love, inspiration, prayer. I am thankful to have experienced this with my YFC community, who I have always been close to my heart.

This year's National Conference reminded me of how thankful I should be for my leaders and CCs that they had brought me closer to God and it's now my turn to do the same thing for the next generation.

This Natcon also made me realise how blessed I am to be part of a community where lifelong friendships are made and at the same time journey with them to have a deeper connection with the Lord.

Attending this year’s family ministry annual conference as service team is a humbling and enlightening experience. Humbling because we realised again how much effort, time and resources are put into each event, not to mention that the Family Min Conference is small as compared to other national events like the Theme Weekend or MER. It makes me appreciate and be more grateful of GOD’s graciousness and faithfulness to all those who trust in HIM.
It was enlightening for us to learn more about the inspiring service of our fellow Couple Coordinators in KFC and YFC, our brothers in SOLD and our sisters in HOLD; no matter how small our task but it is magnified through GOD’s grace to help our brethren grow in faith across all ages. Of course, I must mention how much camaraderie we enjoyed during the social night, proving how talented and fun it is in our whole FAMILY MINISTRY! Praise be to GOD!
